Our Treatment options

Anchor 1

Acupuncture

Chinese acupuncture is a traditional healing practice that involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to balance the flow of energy, or "qi." According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, stimulating these acupuncture points helps restore harmony within the body and improve overall health. Scientifically, acupuncture is believed to relieve pain by triggering the release of endorphins and influencing the nervous system to reduce inflammation and improve blood flow.

Chinese Herbal Medicine

Chinese herbal medicine uses natural plant-based remedies to support weight loss, regulate internal body functions, and manage various health conditions. Herbs like ginseng, hawthorn, and green tea are commonly used to boost metabolism, improve digestion, and balance hormones. Scientifically, many of these herbs contain bioactive compounds—such as polyphenols and saponins—that have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and metabolic-regulating effects.

Cupping

Cupping therapy is often used alongside acupuncture in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to enhance therapeutic effects, especially for pain relief and musculoskeletal conditions. Cupping involves placing suction cups on the skin to stimulate blood flow, reduce inflammation, and promote healing.

Tui Na massage

Tui Na massage is a therapeutic form of Chinese manual therapy often used in combination with acupuncture to treat musculoskeletal disorders, promote circulation, and balance internal organ function. It involves specific techniques such as kneading, rolling, and pressing on acupuncture points and meridians to stimulate the flow of qi and blood.

Electrical Stimulation

Electrical stimulation, often used alongside acupuncture (commonly called electroacupuncture), involves applying a mild electric current to inserted acupuncture needles to enhance therapeutic effects. This technique intensifies the stimulation of acupuncture points, promoting deeper muscle activation, improved circulation, and pain modulation.

Personalized Care

Personalised care in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) means tailoring all treatments—such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, Tui Na massage, and electroacupuncture—to your unique health needs and body constitution. Practitioners assess factors like your symptoms, lifestyle, and energy imbalances to create a customised treatment plan that addresses both root causes and immediate concerns. This holistic approach ensures more effective, targeted healing and long-term wellness support.

Patient Stories

I've been going to Sam for a few years for different aches and pain. Most recently for menapause symptoms. I was suffering from insomnia, getting up multiple times in the night, groin pain and night sweats.

His treatments reduced all of these

symptoms. Now I can sleep much better. He is also a very positive, happy human with sensible advice that goes a long way.

I went to see Sam last week in incredible pain, I could hardly walk from lower back pain on my left side, he did what he does and I had instant relief.
3 treatments down and I feel so much better.
Sam is amazing at what he does.
I highly recommend.
